This is it. Despite the ongoing weekly video coverage that can be found here, this is the final big piece to the Stargate SG-1: The Alliance puzzle. What better way to finish off this coverage than with an interview with Ben Lenzo, CEO of Perception. With the help of numerous Perception devs, we have been able to bring you coverage that I believe is extremely in-depth. The Alliance hasn’t slipped into onscurity, but rather it has become a hot talking point on many websites and forums once again. It’s been quite a roller coaster ride, I must say. From being anonymously sent a working build of The Alliance, to Skyping with the CEO of Perception, this has been quite the journey. Once again, I wish to thank all the folks who worked on The Alliance but never got the recognition. Your efforts are truly appreciated, and I only hope that our coverage has been to your liking. Everyone else, enjoy the interview.

This is the one you’ve been waiting for. If you have a Youtube account be sure to subscribe to my channel, GamingLibertyRetro. This video coverage will go on for a number of weeks, and I don’t think I’ll be posting an article for every video update I do. From here on I’ll be uploading at least two videos a week. I have the entire game to play through as well as fly through in multiplayer spectator mode. I can’t say how long the video coverage will go on for but I’m guessing until April at least. It’s all up in the air at the moment but rest assured, the video content will be very extensive. Also, be sure to check out TGL’s Stargate hub for all related content and articles. So, take a step through the Stargate back to early 2006, folks. Enjoy.

We will make a full announcement in time but expect it two weeks from today. Next week I’ll be kicking off the extensive Youtube gameplay coverage. Stay tuned! The best is yet to come…

Chances are some of you have been waiting for this for a very long time. Since our first teaser trailer we here at TGL have been building up our exclusive coverage of the cancelled title, Stargate SG-1: The Alliance. Confused aboout what I’m talking about? Click this link to get a rundown on the content we have in store for you over the coming weeks. To kick things off I have something very special for you, dear readers. Viljar Sommerbakk was one of the Stargate developers that I initially got in contact with prior to being anonymously sent a working Alpha build. With an extensive list of work behind him with companies such as Funcom, Mirco Forte, IO Interactive and Team Bondi and games like LA Noire, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures and the upcoming Syndicate, Viljar is quite an accomplished individual in the games industry. So, after playing the game myself and being in the perfect position to ask the questions, I posed them to Viljar. This is our first official week of Stargate SG-1: The Alliance content, and it’s the perfect introduction to the what’s to come.
