Swedish online store Webhallen.com briefly carried a listing for the Special Edition before promtly taking it down, no doubt followed by a slap on the wrist from EA.

Thankfully PlayFront.De managed to save a couple of images of the pricey but awesome special edition. Your eyes are not fooling you, that is nano-suit backpack. Measuring 46cm x 34cm (18 inches by 13 inches), the bag comes a metallic spine similar similar to those found on the nano-suits in the game. It also comes with a 7.9 inch-long Prophet statue, the 176-page art book, a SCAR hologram, the “Waffenskin SCAR – Camouflage,” access to higher ranks and unlockable items and a special steelbook case.

But I hear you asking? How much for this indulgently cool swag? How about €158. Yep. Not so cool now. Still its very tempting. This could be the best special edition ever.

Hooray for Special Editions and hooray for Dead Rising 2. The game is out October 1st for us Europeans and Capcom is celebrating with this dead cool special edition of the game. The Outbreak Pack includes a copy of the game, a 12” zombie figurine complete with accessories like a Servbot head and a download token for a bonus theme pack and additional specific content for the PS3 and 360 versions.

As we know, Dead Space 2 is getting the special edition treatment exclusively on Playstation 3. The special edition will include a Playstation Move HD remake of the Wii’s Dead Space: Extraction. And if what we’re hearing is true, then this special edition is actually the standard edition. Thats right. No matter what version of Dead Space 2 PS3 you buy, you will be getting the special edition. Nice. EA are really loving the PS3 at the moment.

Dead Spce 2 is coming January 25th. The PS3 is the only place you’ll get Dead Space Extraction Special Edition.

We all know gambling is the true sport of kings (well, not exactly) so if your a Fallout fan who likes to raise the stakes, the New Vegas Collector’s Edition is probably worth a gamble in itself. Bethesda have put together a really nice CE for New Vegas and the final edition will include:

*Lucky 7 poker chips: As the name suggests, there are seven in total, each representing the major casinos located on The Strip in Vegas and in the Mojave Wasteland in the game.

*Deck of playing cards: Each card in the pack contains an illustration of characters and factions found in the game.

*A “recreation of the game’s highly coveted Lucky 38 platinum chip”.

*All Roads: A hardcover graphic novel written by the game’s creative director Chris Avellone and published by Dark Horse Comics. It tells the tale of the events leading up to the game.

*The Making of Fallout: New Vegas DVD: A documentary with exclusive video content, interviews, and concept to creation information.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is getting a special edition in Europe andit will include a downloadable voucher for Prince of Persia classic on PSN and XBLA. It will also include some additional bonus features including a survival mode, sand wraith skin and malin skin. The game hits Europe May 18th. This special edition was revealed at the end of the latest Prince of Persia trailer.

Bioshock 2 is merely days away and if you’re a Rapture freak like us then your probably considering getting your mitts on the very special ‘Special Edition’ of the game. Sony has posted an image of the contents for the EU exclusive Heavy Rain collectors edition on the PS Blog. It looks sensational. As we already know, apart from the actual game itself, this CE will include;
