Sonic 4, the long awaited “true” sequel gamers have been waiting for, has finally been priced and dated. Here’s the info directly from Sega themselves.
-The game will be available for download on the iTunes App Store starting Oct. 7, the Wii Shop Channel on Oct. 11 (15th Oct in EMEA territories), the PlayStation Network on Oct. 12 in America (Oct 13th in EMEA territories), and Xbox Live Arcade on Oct. 13 across all territories.

There’s a new Sonic the Hedgehog 4 trailer in town and this time it’s all about the Casino Streets Zone. The game is still set for an autumn release on all formats. Please Sega, get this one right. Loving the soundtrack to Casino Streets Zone already.

I’ve always wondered why Sega kind of abandoned the name ‘Dr. Robotnik’ for the name ‘Dr. Eggman’. Robotnik is so much better.

Either way Robotnik or Eggman or whatever you wanna call him appears in these new SONIC 4 screens for the very first time.We missed you.

Ah, poor Sonic. The little blue guy can’t catch a break. Having been subject to some really miserable games for the last number of years, Sega seemed to have finally got things right with the announcement of Sonic 4, the first true Sonic sequel in many years and a game that lends more to his 2D legacy then his rather forgettable 3D incarnations.

Now, even though a new 2D Sonic is on the way, people are still skeptical and now it appears that someone has leaked the majority if not all of the game’s entire soundtrack on the web. Ouch!
