When I first saw Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time I hated it. I hated how it didn’t stick too closely to the games, how Jake Gyllenhaal was chosen to play the Prince, how Ben Kingsley pouted his lips and how it all came together as a typical summer blockbuster. I expected more from The Sands of Time. However, things change and since my last viewing of The Sands of Time my opinion of it has gone up a great deal. I think it’s one of the best videogame films to date, actually.
