gaming memories playstation demos

I remember this shit like it was yesterday. The Playstation! For me, personally, it was probably the golden age of gaming. But if the Playstation was the chunky, delicious...

Media Molecule has released a new trailer for Tearaway on PlayStation Vita. There is nothing about the trailer that isn’t simply wonderful. by Retroplayer - on Feb 26th 2012 at 4:10 pm (IST). This post has No Comments

With the release of the latest Muppet film recently, I thought it might be fun to review a Muppet related game. We all love(d) the Muppets, right? There were a few games to choose from, but I settled with Muppet Monster Adventure, a rather obscure PS1 title. I expected a below par platformer with the Muppets themselves hastily shoe horned in, to be honest with you. However, what I found was actually quite surprising- it wasn’t just good, it was great. Retro Review- Fighting Force

by Retroplayer - on Sep 25th 2011 at 5:22 pm (IST). This post has No Comments

During development Fighting Force was originally intended to be Streets of Rage 4. Despite it being re-worked into a new IP it still retains some of what made Streets of Rage great but walks a tightrope when presenting that action on a 3D plane which tends to make game play a little sluggish.

Jade Cocoon, developed by Denki and released in 1999, is like a wonderful mix of Final Fantasy and Pokemon. It combines both an intriguing RPG setting with a superb Pokemon-esque creature collecting/breeding game mechanic. For the most part it works and is one of the Playstation finest titles.
