by Shane Willoughby - on Oct 29th 2010 at 12:44 pm (IST). This post has 2 Comments

Silent Hill 2 fans listen up. This is the kinda news your gonna wanna read.

Guy Cihi, the voice of Silent Hill 2 protagonist James Sunderland has posted on his Facebook that Konami have been in touch with him after years of no contact.

“Konami contacted me after years of no-contact. We are discussing issues related to SH2′s continuing popularity. Why now? They either want to re-release SH2 game content, or Sony’s SH2 movie involves James Sunderland. I’ll keep you posted.”

Continued popularity of Silent Hill 2? Interesting! One wonders if Konami are about to release a HD remake of Silent Hill 2. Maybe James will play a part in Silent Hill 8. Or perhaps, as Guy suggests, James may have a part to play in the next Silent Hill movie.

Well, Silent Hill 2 fans, we have something very special to share with you this weekend. But I aint telling you what. Hopefully we can give you a little more insight into what’s going on with Konami and Guy.

FIFA 11 Review

by Shane Willoughby - on Oct 2nd 2010 at 3:32 pm (IST). This post has No Comments

Let’s cut to the chase shall we; FIFA 11 is the definite football experience on any videogame console. After spending most of the noughties dragging its heels behind the competition, FIFA finally got its act together in the last couple of editions, culminating in last year’s FIFA 10, a game that redefined the franchise and reaffirmed our faith in the football videogame genre. FIFA 11 reiterates the critical intent of FIFA 10 without actually changing any of the core gameplay elements. But don’t think this is just FIFA 10 with a new number stamped on the front cover. FIFA 11 packs enough bite to justify a purchase even if you already own a copy of FIFA 10.
