Sony has decided to pull the plug on the Eye of Judgement’s online play. Online support for the game will be discontinued on September 30th 2010.

The niche PlayStation Eye trading card game came out in October 2007.

“We at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe sincerely thank you for your continued support of The Eye of Judgement,” said a moderator over on the official European PlayStation forums.

“The online battle service for this product will terminate on 30 September 2010. Offline play will remain available even after the conclusion of online service.”

With all the amazing multi-format and exclusive games hitting the big consoles over the next couple of months, one can be forgiven for forgetting that Level-5’s PS3 Exclusive White Knight Chronicles International Edition is out on February 26th.
Sony has posted a video on their blog with Tsubasa Inaba, the US producer of WKC. He explains the game’s hefty online component and what gamers can expect from the game when it hits the selves.
