The Official Xbox Magazine seems to know something that no on else knows.

The latest issue reveals that a classic gaming franchise is set to be reborn on Xbox 360. The rebirth will feature in the next issue.

Guitar Hero 6 was always an going to happen but this month’s Official Xbox Magazine has just confirmed it. Below we have scans of the reveal, both of which show a couple of screenshots as well as revealing something called ‘Quest Mode’, a mode that will ‘carry the burden’ of the game, whatever that means. It looks like the game will be funny compatible with the entire Guitar Hero back catalogue. Freakily long tongued Kiss womanizer Gene Simmons will provide voice overs for the game. Expect an autumn launch. More details as we get them.

The Official Xbox Magazine has the world exclusive reveal of Bodycount, a game deemed the ‘ultimate shooter’ and in development by Codemasters in Guildford. Bodycount is Stuart Black’s newest title and supposed spiritual successor to PS2 shooter cult hit ‘Black’. That’s all we know so far, the OXM issue is on it’s way to subscribers as we speak so expect more inormation to filter out over the course of the next couple of days. No word as to what formats the game will appear on, but given Codies stalwart filtations with all the big HD consoles, expect to be playing Bodycount on your 360, PS3 and probably your PC.
