An open letter: Michael Beattie to Mordin Solus fans

by Retroplayer - on Mar 9th 2012 at 12:20 pm (IST). This post has No Comments

For the past few months fans have worried that Michael Beattie, the voice behind Mordin Solus, wouldn’t be returning for Mass Effect 3. TGL posted news about this back in June of 2011. We hoped it would have stirred up enough fan reaction to secure Michael a place in Mass Effect 3. However, while fans did react, it wasn’t enough to force Bioware’s hand on the matter. Right now many of you will probbly have Mass Effect 3 in your hands, eager to start the final installment in the trilogy. While Mordin Solus does turn up in the game, he has been completely recast with another voice actor. We reached out to Michael Beattie to speak out about all of this. Michael is a tremendous talent, and while TGL looks forward to bringing the final fight to the Reapers, it will feel bittersweet without his involvment.

The following is an open letter to the fans from Michael himself.
