It’s time for another Dynasty Warriors sequel!

Koei formally announced that Dynasty Warriors 7 3D will arrive this March in Japan at least. No word of a western release just yet. We’ll keep you posted.

The game will introduce three new chacraters to the DW roster Sima Shi, Sima Zhao and Bao Sanniang. It will also pack a bunch of new gameplay variations including something called Chronicle mode. Thats all be know for now.

There’s talk of Ninja Gaiden 3 on the web today. Over on CVG, Tecmo Koei senior managing director Yoshiki Sugiyama has said that they are ready to begin ‘nurturing’ a new Ninja Gaiden and if and when development begins, the result will be nothing short of ‘spectacular’.

“Ninja Gaiden is such a beloved and important franchise for us and fans expect such great things from the next installment that we need to indulge in a little nurturing.”

“If and when we talk about a new Ninja Gaiden, it will be spectacular.”

Personally I would sell my soul for a new Ninja Gaiden. The original 360 games and their Sigma updates on PS3 were all fantastic. Make this happen Tecmo. Make it so.
