Review: Duke Nukem Forever

Strippers, offensive language, sexual innuendo, swine squashing, boozing and pill popping. Say what you will about Duke Nukem Forever but one thing that cannot be denied is just how faithful the final product is to the energy and impetus generated by Duke Nukem and his alien pig pulverizing universe of old. Everything that Duke stands for and everything you would expect Forever to reference and uphold is present in 2011 and yet, amid the compulsory vice, debortuary, toilet humour and the odious one liners synonymous with King Duke, a giant white elephant balances precariously on the arm of his majesty’s throne.

Crysis 2 vs Killzone 3 vs Homefront vs Bulletstorm vs Duke Nukem

by Retroplayer - on Mar 20th 2011 at 10:29 pm (IST). This post has No Comments

Killzone 3 is the greatest game ever, Bulletstorm defines the action genre, Crysis looks better than real life, Homefront is the shape of things to come, Duke Nukem Forever is welcomed back by kids who never played the original while Battlefield 3, which hasn’t been released yet, is soon to take over Killzone 3′s mantle of uber greatness. Well, that’s what some of the gaming community would have you believe, right? I talked about them before, dear readers- fanboys! They’re back and their forces are growing in numbers and there’s no other genre where fanboys germinate more than the FPS.
