According to several reports doing the rounds on the web today, Nintendo are set to formally announce a new lower price for the standard DS, as well as the DSi and DSi XL

“In the UK Nintendo will be reducing the trade price of Nintendo DSi to retailers from June 18, 2010,” a statement read. “The ultimate price to consumers is, of course, determined by the retailers”.

We’re talking about a price reduction in the range of €30 to €40 here. If you don’t own a DS, come June 18th you will have no excuse.

Scribblenauts 2 is on the way and will be revealed later this month in Nintendo Power Magazine. 5th Cell are planning to deliever 120 Levels and an additional 10,000 words this time out.We’re also promised a level editor, a new hint system, and improved control schemes. Adjectives are going to play a major part this time out. The game its slated for a fall 2010 release.
