According to a sleeve insert found with NA’s Bluray copy of rather crap movie The Battle: Los Angeles, there’s a new edition of Resistance 1 & 2 coming

How cool is this? The Playstation Blog today announced that District 9’s (awesome film) Blu-ray edition will include the much talked about God of War 3 E3 2009 Demo. It will all be on the same disc, with Sony pairing both the film and the demo on what it’s proclaiming to be an industry first ‘hybrid’ disc. When you complete the demo you’ll even unlock a ‘making of’ GOW3 featurette. Brilliant. The Blu-ray goes on sale December 29th in North America and even if the film didn’t include the GOW demo, the TGL would have recommended picking up the film anyway. Hands up if your falling more and more in love with Blu-ray.

During an interview yesterday, Steve Ballmer was asked about Blu-Ray and the Xbox 360. I wanted to clear something up. Steve was referring to Blu-Ray accessories for the PC. As we have said in the past, we have no plans to introduce a Blu-Ray drive for the Xbox 360.

Steve went on to mention “Well I don’t know if we need to put Blu-ray in there-you’ll be able to get Blu-ray drives as accessories”.
