DICE have decided that those of you who purchased Battlefield 3 on Playstation 3 will get a digital download for Battlefield 1943 as per originally promised.

Legal firm Edelson McGuire has now filed a class-action lawsuit against EA on behalf of consumers who were promised said free copy of Battlefield 1943 as an incentive to purchase Battlefield 3 PS3.

EA and DICE have confirmed that PS3 owners will not be getting Battlefield 1943 with Battlefield 3 at retail as per originally promised.
