    So…

I’ve finally started The Walking Dead, and I have to say, I think it’s the saving grace I personally needed. I’ve become so disillusioned with games these days that everything is such a pick up and drop experience.

Most modern games are throw-away experiences, and while some are exceptional on certain development levels, there’s a shocking amount of them that you’d play, then simply forget. So, with this in mind, I decided to finally start TWD the other night. Starting chapter 3 soon, the game has already managed to establish powerful connections between me and the characters. In fact, it’s already grabbed me by the curlys, slapped me with fear, anxiety, love and concern and tossed me into an emotional rollercoaster – It’s omething I haven’t felt in a while (not the curlys part, but the emotion).

With an industry plagued with mediocrity, TWD has lived up to its name as something rather special I think.

    Have you played it?

I’ve heard nothing but good things about it, that being said I honestly have no desire to play it. I’m just plain tired of zombies, when there’s a million new zombie games being released on PC every week it really makes it difficult to have any interest in playing them.

Yeah the zombie theme has been over done to the extreme, but I guess this is something a little more than your typical go here and blast this kinda’ game.

This has some serious feeling running through it. Thoroughly enjoying it.

Maybe give the demo a go?
