It looks like Studio Liverpool has a new Wipeout Title in the works. The word comes from a CV of former employee Martin Linklater who lost his position at the developer as part of Sony’s restructuring earlier in the year. The CV has been dug up by Siliconera.

Martin’s CV cleary states that he had been working on an ‘Unannounced Wipeout Project’ as well as an ‘unannounced Action Project’ and ‘unannounced hardware’. One could make the assumuption that the hardware is probably Playstation Move.

Final Fantasy XIII was originally meant to be a PS2 title, but we had to switch systems due to the arrival of the PS3, that cost us about one and a half years and was constantly a case of trial and error. However, because we worked so hard at the beginning, we got to a cruising speed

Kotaku have posted images of Final Fantasy XIII supposedly running on PS2. The images come from a couple of Sqaure-Enix books which detail the eventual finished game’s design. The images come from a pre E3 2006 build of the title and are running on PS2. Have a look at the images and tell us what you think. Some of the artwork and asethetics are very interesting.

With Final Fantasy XIII’s western release just a couple of months away, Amazon.de has today started to list ‘Final Fantasy XIII Special Edition’ on its site. The Special Edition costs €71.99 but the site fails to list any additional information, box art or any information on the actual additional content this SE will include. No word yet on whether or not the US will get an SE, but it’s safe to say that it probably will. More on this as we get it. Final Fantasy XIII hits the shelves on March 7th.

Here’s what the Shadow of The Colossus Re-Issue Box looks like!

by Shane Willoughby - on Dec 15th 2009 at 11:10 pm (IST). This post has No Comments

A couple of days ago we published a story that Shadow of the Colossus was rumoured to be receiving a re-issue in Japan. Turns out, the rumour is true. However this isn’t the ‘romantic God of War Blu-Ray Collection’ re-issue we all dreamed of. It’s merely a simple and straight forward PS2 re-issue. A little disappointing you might say, but hey, at least Fumito Ueda and Team Ico are getting this game back out on the market so that people, who didn’t play it first time out, will now get the chance to play it. Hopefully we’ll get a European re-issue too. This game deserves a re-issue more than any game I can think of. Its that’s special. Also its something to keep you occupied till The Last Guardian drops.
