Why have Capcom abandoned the Onimusha franchise?
Folklore is brimful of charm, from the detached and insular eerie simple surrounds of Doolin to the beautiful kaleidoscopic poetic vistas of the folk Netherworld. Everything is perfectly stylised and the bewildered misty greys of Doolin and the sumptuous primary’s of the folk world are perfectly complimentary to the character of each setting.
It’s been 12 long years since a Resident Evil game last scared me. Don’t get me wrong. Resident Evil 4 is a quality title and although Resident Evil 5 wasn’t exactly my cup of tea (virus), it had its moments. But these games didn’t particularly scare me or induce any sort of fear on my behalf. No, Resident Evil just isn’t scary anymore.
At the core , Demon’s Souls an old heart beats. There is a real throwback to so many of the games that the yesteryears have given us, only now DS gives them an all new modern feel while still retaining that timeless feel. Games nowadays rarely have significant consequences for death.
I’ve been asked on countless occasions in the last week just what my own personal highlight from the week was and my answer has to be the announcement of Tekken Tag Tournament HD on Playstation 3……duh
