Scottish developer Ruffian Games were at one time or another developing a modern remake of SEGA’s classic Streets of Rage. The title was quietly canned, but in-game footage of the unfinished game has surfaced, with Ruffian themselves confirming that the footage is legitimate.
Ruffian developer Sean Noonan confirmed that the footage is the real deal on Twitter by saying, “So it seems like one of my previous projects has leaked, as pretty as I remember.”
It is not yet known why Ruffian, probably best known for their Crackdown franchise on Xbox 360, pulled the plug on the game.
