Kojima Production’s Japanese Twitter account has dated Metal Gear Solid 4′s long awaited trophy patch for release on Monday August 6th….in Japan at the very least. Nothing has been confirmed for the rest of the world as of yet.

The update will obviously add trophies but will also give you the oppourtunity to install the game on your PS3′s HDD, thus alleviating some of those rather long install sequences between chapters.

As soon as something is said about this trophy patch for the west, we’ll let you know.
