The smashing fellows over at Oddworld Inhabitants are readying Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee HD with Just Add Water but have hit something of a snag, that being, they don’t know what to call the game. They need your help.
Oddworld Inhabitants published the following over on their official blog tonight:
Hey there, fellow chumps! Here on Oddworld we’re having a little problem… maybe you can be the one to solve it!
See, we need a name for our 2.5D remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, and we need it in time for the big reveal later this year. We’ve considered Abe’s Oddysee HD, but that makes it sound like we’ve injected bigger pictures into the original engine. This is a grounds-up remake with glorious 3D graphics but retaining the classic 2D gameplay! We need a name that stands out and does it justice!
So if you’ve got your naming caps on and want to flex those titling muscles that you’ve been pumping every evening down at the imagym, just fill out this convenient form with your details and your idea.
Head over to the blog and submit your best idea for a new name. If your name is chosen, you’ll win a bunch of stuff and will basically be a legend forever.
Abe HD is in development over at Just Add Water. It’s in good hands. They did a fantastic job on Stranger’s Wrath HD.
Additionally, JAW are planning on revealing Munch’s Oddysee at Gamescom later in the month. All is well in the land of Oddworld. We love these guys.
