Interesting one this……

Speaking at Comic-Con over the weekend, Chan Park, president of SuperBot Entertainment, the studio currently working on PlayStation brand brawler All-Stars: Battle Royale has revealed that originally Sony had approached Uncharted creators Naughty Dog to produce and develop the project.

However, given that Naughty Dog was already hard at work on the then secret “The Last of Us”, the studio declined and passed on the project. It was from there that Sony decided to create a new studio, SuperBot Entertainment, for the sole purpose of building PlayStation All-Stars.

PSAL: Battle Royale is due this October on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
