Square-Enix has gone ahead and confirmed that Final Fantasy VII will be re-released on PC “soon” and will include a host of extras including achievements, online features and a character booster. The game will also include a cloud saving feature.
Square Enix announced the news on their official FFVII PC site, which looks to have subsequently crashed.
The minimum specs are as follows:
- Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64-bit)
- 2GHz Processor or faster
- 1GB RAM
- DirectX 9-compatible graphic card
It will ship in English, French, Spanish and German.
This version will incude “a host of new online features”, with 36 achievements and a “Character Booster”.
“With the Character Booster you can increase your HP, MP and Gil levels to their maximum, all with the simple click of a button, leaving you to enjoy your adventure,” says the official site.
“With cloud save support in Final Fantasy VII you can continue your game progress right where you left off, all you need is an internet connection.”
