Square-Enix’s president Yoichi Wada has confirmed that Final Fantasy Versus XIII has not been cancelled.
Announcing the news via twitter, Wada confirmed the title is still very much in development and that fans might be surprised as to how it’s shaping up.
Recent rumours suggested the title was pulled after a prolonged development cycle which has spanned over 6 years.
I’d never believe anything that came out of Loltaku these days anyway, I think they’ve always been a tad anti-PS3 too over the years and their quality in general has decreased massively lately. It’s nice to hear Wada say we’d be so surprised by the city now that we’d have to take a seat but the fact that we’re probably more likely to hear about FFXIII-3 at the event in September than Versus just drains any anticipation and hope out of you.
