DICE has dropped some details for the eagerly anticipated “Aftermath” DLC for Battlefield 3.
Aftermath aims to be the most intense DLC to date with urban warfare spreading across four new maps, new “heavily modified military and civilian vehicles”, a new game mode and even new assignments, achievements and dog tags to collect.
DICE also hinted at the possibility of real-time earthquakes too:
With operational capacity severely compromised the opposing forces must adapt and engage in vertical and horizontal urban combat amongst the dust and rubble with cracks and fissures in the terrain providing unexpected cover and paths to objectives.
There’s no date for Aftermath just yet, so sit tight troops.
