Naughty Dog has confirmed that the main campaign for The Last of Us won’t be co-op enabled.
Speaking with gamingexaminer, the studio confirmed that while the game will ship with multiplayer (an aspect of the title yet to be revealed), it won’t support co-op via the single player story:
“We are supporting multiplayer with The Last of Us. We’re not ready to talk about the details of how multiplayer will be implemented, however we can say that it is not co-op within the main campaign.”
The Last of Us launches next year.
