With all this talk of a Sony collaboration with a cloud gaming service of late, lots has been suggested but nothing has been set in stone.
GI are now suggesting that the key to any deal with Sony and cloud service Gaikai is backwards compatibility. The deal will allow current-generation hardware to play PlayStation 2 and PSone games via a streaming solution and Gaikai.
GI understands that first and third party will be able to sell their back catalogues via the service and stream their games onto PS3.
All eyes are on PlayStation’s E3 presser on Monday. Please, please, please…..be……true.
