Capcom are to re-release a HD version of the beautiful and horrily under-rated PS2 classic that is Okami.
The latest issue of Famitsu, via Andriasang, confirmed the HD re-release. The game is called Okami Zekkie-ban, which essentially translates to Okami Magnificent Version.
Okami was released towards the end of the PS2′s “life cycle”, as it were, just prior to the release of the PS3. Not enough people played it.It also saw a release on the Wii a couple of years later. No one played that either.
No word yet on a western release. Okami HD will be exclusive to PS3. More on this as we get it.
