Rovio, the famed creators of Angry Birds, have said that they are genuinely considering moving its headquarters from their current base in Finland to Dublin, mainly down to Ireland’s attractive 12.5% tax rate.
Speaking with the Irish Times, Rovio CEO Mikael Hed said “We are considering (Ireland)” and added, “It is something that we need to look at. For now we have stayed in Finland. But it is on top of our minds.”
Rovio currently employ 4000. Watch this (Angry Birds in….) space.
