Guacamelee, a “Mexican-themed co-op-multiplayer dimension-swapping Metroid-vania beat-em-up platformer,” is coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita via DrinkBox Games.
Taking inspiration from by Mexican culture (apparently), the Evil Charro Skeleton has kidnapped El Presidente’s daughter and you, a lowly famer named Juan Aguacate, must save the girl and the day. The game will take you to any number of Mexican villages, passing through the world of the living and the world of the dead in order to rescue the girl.
It will get it’s first public showcasing at E3 next week. Here’s the reveal trailer.
