The bizarre Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance teasers just keep coming and the latest one is probably the most mind boggling of them all.
Konami has launched a new website entitled www.WarOnOurShores.com. The site links directly to Rising’s ongoing cryptic teaser site and features a YouTube audio recording of a “leaked recording of Colorado Senator Stephen Armstrong’s conversation with one of his speech writers. This audio clip reveals the horrific truth about what the Senator’s true plans are for America.”
We’ve listened to the recording a few times and we’re trying to figure out just what Armstrong (whoever he is) is on about. However, Armstrong does reference the “Sons of Liberty”, the subtitle of Metal Gear Solid 2 and a group of true patriots that Raiden’s adoptive father has been known to aspire too. Once again, phrases like “uncover the truth” and “make it right” are associated with the teaser.
Any guesses as to what is going on here. We’re positively stumped.
