Industry legend Dave Perry is to receive the Development Legend award on July 11th at the Develop Industry Excellence Awards.
Perry, from Northern Ireland, is well known for being the creative force behind titles like Earthworm Jim, Messiah, MDK and Wild 9. Acknowledging the news, Perry had the following to say in response:
“I’m incredibly flattered by this award. I’m from Great Britain and have incredible respect for the people that have been recognised in previous years. My mother is going to be blown away; she thought she was buying me that first Sinclair ZX81 to do homework on.”
