Take 2 have confirmed that those waiting for their shooter variant of the XCOM franchise – will have to wait a little longer…
Releasing details in their latest financial results (for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2012), the firm confirmed the XCOM shooter will miss 2013 altogether, and now instead ship in 2014:
“2K Games now expects to release XCOM, its shooter version of the franchise that is in development at 2K Marin, during fiscal year 2014.”
The firm’s report also confirms the title is still expected to ship on current-gen systems Xbox 360, PS3 (and PC). So, what will we do until then?
