PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale just got that little bit more interesting.

After seeing everyone’s favourite 2D rapping beanie wearing dog PaRappa the Rapper bust out some close quarters kung fu in yesterday’s first preview trailers, TGL couldn’t help but wonder just how dedicated developers SuperBot are in terms of character loyalty and authenticity. It just so happens, they’re very loyal.

TGL can confirm that Dred Foxx, the voice of PaRappa the Rapper, has been signed up by SuperBot to reprise his role in Battle Royale. This is the first time in ten years that Dred will voice PaRappa, having not laid down a new rap for PaRappa since 2002′s PRTR2. TGL reached out to Dred on Facebook and he confirmed that he is involved in the project.

Well done SuperBot. Its little things like this that PlayStation fans really care about. PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale is due out before the end of the year.

Check out Dred in action below. I GOTTA BELIEVE!!!!
