OXM UK are claiming that a trusted source has told the mag that they have seen Timespitters 4 “running”.
“Trusted OXM sources have claimed that they’ve seen TimeSplitters 4 running,” according to CVG.
Additionally the source claims that the original three games will more than likely make a re-appearance at some stage, presumably as part a downloadable “classic” or bundled together in a HD Collection.
With reference to Timesplitters 4, the mag says that:
“That’s no guarantee that it’ll be released – at least one version of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was cancelled without ever being announced – but it’s a promising sign.”
“If we do get a proper sequel, we’re likely to see the old games appear, too.”
Timesplitters 4 has been rumoured for many years now. The last game, Future Perfect, released back in 2005.
