Would you like the good news or bad new first?

OpCapita have confirmed they have bought 333 UK GAME stores. The firm, which owns Comet, has struck a deal which will see almost 3,200 GAME employees in the UK secure, as well as ruling out future store closures and/or job losses. This is great news of course, but begs the question about the fate of Irish stores? It seems that the 14 Irish stores, which supported 131 jobs here in Ireland, are not part of the deal made with OpCapita.

Sit-in protests continue across the country over unpaid wages and redundancies.

Progress made by the protest can be found here.
