Harmonix has announced Rock Band Blitz for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
It’s the first Rock Band gamt not use the plastic peripherals synonymous with the franchise, instead using the controller exclusively.
G4TV has it that game is akin to rhythm music games like Frequency and Amplitude. Each lane will represent a different instrument from drums to bass, keyboard, guitar and vocals and the idea is to keep as many of them going at once as possible before you fail. It will be compatible with Rock Band DLC too.
