A job listing on the official Microsoft website has confirmed, again, that the successor to the Xbox 360 is coming.

Spotted by Superannuation, the job listing has since been removed by Microsoft, but a google cached version can be viewed here. The listing didn’t contain anything new per se, but it did make a direct reference to the next-generation machine:

“Primary responsibilities will include development of the core audio stack for the next generation Xbox console”.

As it turns out, Turn 10 Studios, the developers behind the Forza franchise, are also looking for talent to work on their “next Generation of games”.

Of course, next-generation talk isn’t that new at all with developers like Bethesda, Read At Dawn, Naughty Dog, Rockstar and even LucasArts all making the leap in development.

Expect news at E3 2012.
