Kojima Productions have taken down Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops’ online services. The same applies to it’s expansion, Portable Ops +.
Portable Ops released on PSP back in 2006 with the Plus expansion launching the following year. KP actually took the servers down yesterday, giving users little or no notice on the official MPO site.
This is first of two Metal Gear server shut downs in the next few months, the next being Metal Gear Online on June 11th.
Thanks for the memories MPO. We’re only sorry we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye.
