VG247 has it that Crystal Dynamics are working on a brand new Soul Reaver title. The game is reportedly going to usher in a complete series overhaul both in terms of story and visual look.
All VG are saying is that the new game is a reboot and will feature a new art direction. No other details are known at this time.
This isn’t the first time that we’ve heard talk of a new Soul Reaver game. VG seem to think that the game was going to be originally revealed at E3 this year, however, they no longer believe this to be true. Other than the fact that it’s actually in development, VG actually don’t know any additional facts.
It’s been nearly a decade since we last enjoyed a Soul Reaver game. This is long overdue. make is so Crystal Dynamics.
