Sony have announced that the PSN is going into maintenance mode for approximately 12 hours on March 1st.
The exact reason behind the maintenance is unknown, but Sony’s Blog Manager James Gallagher confirmed that it’ll run from 16:00 GMT until 06:00 GMT on Friday the 2nd March. Gallagher also confirmed that the maintenance will sign out all those signed into the PSN.
Playing online is off the cards as well as features like the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and even account management out of commission until it finishes.
