Ed Boon, co-creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise, has tweeted word that hints at Mortal Kombat 10. In a conversation, via twitter, Boon openly spoke with Sid Shuman (Sony’s social media man) about the up-and-coming D.I.C.E event. D.I.C.E (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain), as you may know, is an industry only event which allows all parties to discuss industry matters, developments and the future.
Here’s what Boon had to say:
“So…are any publishers showing anything for DICE? Noobde: Other than MK10, nothing from us. ;}”
The latest Mortal Kombat title enjoyed very strong sales, so it would be safe to assume that 10 is coming – but we’ll have to wait and see. We for one want it.
