Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is just over a month away and as the hype for Nathan Drake’s latest adventure continues to grow and grow, fans of Naughty Dog continue to remind the developer about the two classic franchises that they first cut their gaming teeth on; I’m talking about you Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter.
In a video interview over on Sony Playstation Ireland’s Facebook page, Uncharted 3’s lead designer Richard Lemarchand was asked if the team would ever consider returning to work of the Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter franchises.
“Well, we had a lot of fun at Naughty Dog making the Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter games. In fact, I went to Naughty Dog as a fan of those terrific series” said Richard. “Sometimes we talk about whether we might go back to them.”
Richard goes on to stress that Naughty Dog is now firmly concentrated on Uncharted and the team is happy to be only working on that franchise for the moment.
“But we’ve been really focused on Uncharted as you can imagine, it’s been a two year process making Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. So we’re pretty happy what we’re doing for the time being.”
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception arrives on Playstation 3 this November 1st.
