Far Cry 2 was almost on your Wii and PSP

Here’s an interesting morsel of gaming “what could of been” to start the day off with.

According to the resume of ex-Ubisoft Montreal employee Philippe Baude, Far Cry 2 was at one time in development for both the Nintendo Wii and PSP in 2006 and 2007. Reference to the Wii and PSP version can be seen on Philippe’s LinkedIn profile. Far Cry 2 was eventually released on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 in 2008.

Far Cry 3 will release next year for the same platforms.
