Sony have confirmed that the Uncharted title that’s destined for the NGP is in fact a prequel to Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. Speaking with Joystiq, a Sony rep confirmed the Uncharted NGP timeline and also announced that there’s more Uncharted news coming June 2nd.

We’re very pumped for the NGP and the Uncharted title is one we are watching very closely.
