Nintendo have finally confirmed a release date for Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS. The remake of the classic N64 version will ship in the EU on June 17th. The American release date was officially announced today too with the West having to wait an extra 2 days until June 19th to get their hands on it. Here’s what Nintendo had to say:
“Fans of the series can once again help Link on his quest to save Hyrule from the evil Ganondorf, by exploring many dungeons, temples and using the titular ocarina to aid him on his quest but this time all in 3D and all without the need for special glasses. The game also now takes advantage of the gyro functionality of the Nintendo 3DS console, by physically moving the Nintendo 3DS console players are enabled to explore and look around with a first person view. This edition has been localised into 5 European languages which includes English, French, German and for the very first time ever the game has also been localised into Spanish & Italian.”
Thanks, CVG

Untill they start adding voice acting into the Zelda franchise, Its a flagging horse seriously losing momentum.
they have got voice acting… “HEY, Listen!” <– see
I gotta disagree, Kev. For me one of Zeldas most iconic concepts is the minimalistic voice acting- laughs, grunts, murmurs. It’s all very slight but adds a lot of personality, I think. Once they start adding in depth voice acting Zelda will lose its charm. Once they start to add voice acting Link will slowly become an angst ridden teenager with mommy issues. Keep it the way it is, please.
uuuUUUUAAARGGhhh. Now to seriously consider getting a 3DS, I waited this long though so I think I can wait a lil longer for the first price drop.
Hell, i’d pay that price for those AR games alone! Well, not really but they were pretty sweet!
Yeah Retro, have you seen the AR t-shirts? It makes it look like the dragon bursts out of your chest ala Alien. Would love a pair of AR Boxers though.
