EA have pulled the PS3 Crysis 2 Mulyiplayer demo off the PSN.
“Though many gamers have had a great experience playing the demo, we are aware that others have been experiencing server connection delays,” said an announcement by EA via game’s website.
“We’ve identified the root cause and have decided to close the PS3 demo in the next 24 hours to ensure all issues are resolved when the game launches next week. Our priority is to ensure that the final product is flawless at launch.”
The PS3 version of Crysis 2 is getting a lot of stick this week, not least because a lot of people are of the opinion that it’s visually inferior to the 360 version. Crytek pulling the demo is a reaction to something, not just server issues. Let’s hope the launch is as flawless as they say it is.
Crysis 2 is out next week Friday March 25th in Ireland.
