Are you a fan of Command & Conquer? We certainly are and since C&C4 we’ve felt nostaglic for the older (and greater) C&C days. Today brings news that there’s not only a new title in development, but a new studio is handling the workload too. The guys at Rock Paper Shotgun caught a glimpse of a new (but pulled) website that recently appeared online which announced the game is being developer by Victory Games. On top of that, it seems that the title will be geared towards the PC audience. In a recent interview, Jon Van Caneghem of Victory Games had the following to say:

“I can tell you it’s a Command & Conquer game for the PC, but we’re not yet at a stage where I can go into any details— we’ll be prepared to make a more formal announcement later in the year. We’re not just working on a game, though. Our general focus is on the future of Command & Conquer. That means updating a lot of the core technology to create a stable base for future development, and leveraging that work on this first game.”

Clearly ditching the errors of C&C4, here’s hoping the game can recapture our love for the franchise. Long live Kane.

We’ll try get some official confirmation from EA.
