Here we go. It just got interesting.

Sony’s PSP successor, the ‘NGP’ is going to have a ton of software support and already today Sony has announced a pletora of new games for the portable including a new Uncharted, a new Killzone, a new Wipeout and a new Resistance.

We’ve also seen demos of Lost Planet, Monster Hunter and Yakuza on the portable.

Hideo Kojima has since jumped onto the stage at the Playstation Meeting in Tokyo and although he assured that he had no announcements to make, Hideo showed a demo of PS3 exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of The Patriots running on PS3. Kojima noted that the NGP allows for PS3 quality titles and as such the build he was showing was extremely close to the grown up PS3 version.

Hideo made reference to the dream of playing home console quality games on a portable outside. He then stated that this dream would become reality when he announces his next title at E3.
