It seems that the epic news that Epic games were hollaring about could make your day alright. Speaking with IGN, Epic games announced that the highly anticipated game will get a Beta which will no doubt allow Epic to finely tune the game into something a little more stream-lined. As if that alone wasn’t good news, Epic also announced that Gears of War 3 will get dedicated servers – a great addition to the game considering the utter laggy mess that was the multiplayer (update after update) of Gears of War 2.

The dedicated server news also brings the “host migration” clause in which if the host quits the game, someone else will be chosen to be the host: an element already present in some huge titles at the moment but very welcome here.

There’s a huge volume of date to feed your already swelling brain – head on over to IGN for the rest.
