The internet is buzzing with reports and videos that apparently show that the pre-E3 “Natal Expereince Event” featured pre-recorded Kinect gameplay footage with actors merely copying the movements on screen. At first I can’t say I wasn’t dissapointed. But lets give Microsoft the benifit of the doubt as this event wasn’t for you. That is, if you’re aged 18 or above.

Here’s how I see it. The event, rather than being a hands on showcase for gamers, appears to be a glossy ad for a different kind of audience. Considering they had both Jennette Mccurdy and Sway Calloway  as co-presenters and will be broadcasting it on Nickolodeon and MTV  this event was never meant to be aimed towards our kind of audience. If you’re reading this, wanted real results from the pre-E3 show and feel a little dissapointed I say lets just wait and see. Lets not jump the gun just yet, folks. Microsoft still have to have there main event and I think that will be something more suited towards our demographic. This event was for something for MTV to play between bouts of The Hills and Pimp my Ride. The Microsoft E3 event should be different and more like something we’re used to.
